Who we are
Growth by Gill is a founder-led digital marketing consultancy based in Melbourne, Australia. This policy explains how we handle information provided through our website and enquiry form.

Information we collect
When you submit an enquiry, we collect your name, email address, business name and message about what you are trying to improve. You can also provide your website address, but that field is optional.
The enquiry form also stores operational information associated with the submission, including the submission date and time, IP address, source page URL, browser and device information, and entry and notification status information.
If you email us directly, we receive the information you include in that email.
How and why we use information
We use enquiry information to understand your question, respond to you, consider whether we can help, and carry out appropriate follow-up.
We use submission and notification information to operate the enquiry form, troubleshoot delivery and maintain appropriate records of enquiries.
Submitting an enquiry does not subscribe you to a newsletter or marketing emails.
How information is handled
The Growth by Gill website runs on WordPress and is hosted by Hostinger.
Fluent Forms is used to process and store website enquiry submissions within WordPress. FluentSMTP is used to send enquiry notifications through Hostinger Email to growthbygill@gmail.com. Google may process these notification emails as part of providing Gmail services. We use this information to respond to and manage the enquiry.
We also receive and handle direct email through hello@growthbygill.com.
These services handle information as necessary to provide the website, form and email functions.
Cookies and website technologies
WordPress uses cookies for authorised website administration. Hosting, security or other technical services may also use cookies or similar technologies that are necessary to operate, secure or deliver the website.
Growth by Gill does not currently use Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, advertising or remarketing technologies, or Mailchimp on the public website.
If we introduce analytics, newsletter functionality, advertising or other technologies that materially change how visitor information is handled, we will update this policy accordingly.
Retention
We keep personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, including responding to enquiries, appropriate follow-up, record-keeping and any applicable legal obligations.
Information that is no longer reasonably required may be deleted or de-identified.
There is currently no automatic deletion period configured for enquiry form entries.
Security
We take reasonable care with access to the personal information we receive and use the website, hosting and email services described above to manage enquiries.
No website, hosting platform or email system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Access, correction and deletion
You can contact hello@growthbygill.com to ask about personal information we hold about you, request a correction, or ask us to delete information that is no longer needed.
We may need to confirm your identity before acting on a request. We will consider requests in light of any information we reasonably need to retain.
Privacy concerns and complaints
If you have a concern about how Growth by Gill has handled your personal information, contact hello@growthbygill.com and explain the issue.
We will review the matter and respond within a reasonable period.
Processing outside Australia
Some of the service providers used to operate the website, hosting and email infrastructure operate internationally. Depending on the service configuration, personal information may be processed or stored outside Australia.
We will update this policy if our service arrangements change materially or if more specific location information becomes relevant to how personal information is handled.

We may update this policy when the website, our services or our information-handling practices change. The effective date at the top of this page shows when the current version took effect.
